Vodafone Qatar has launched permanent offers for retired customers in partnership with the National Retirement Authority, a press release said on Tuesday.
This comes under the umbrella of Vodafone For All, stemming from the company's belief in the corporate responsibility to provide connectivity to all and overcome any accessibility challenges whether technological or economic, especially for groups such as people with disabilities, the elderly and retired individuals.
Vodafone offers retired customers with a valid military, civil or employee card from the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, with a 50 percent discount on Vodafone's Red Postpaid Plans that are rich with benefits such as unlimited local calls and SMS, unlimited local and global data, Vodafone Points, and much more.
Retired customers will also enjoy the recently launched innovate new services available on Vodafone's Red Plans that are designed to give customers more fairness, freedom and differentiation. These include the ability to use 'in-plan' data in 20 countries where Vodafone is present globally at no extra charge, network name personalisation- a world first and Bill Manager that ensures customers don't get hit with a bill shock from any data or roaming usage. In addition, retired customers will benefit from a 10 percent discount on all handsets and priority service at the priority counters in Vodafone's flagship stores located in Landmark, Villaggio and City Center.
Alternatively, for their convenience, retired customers are offered the Red Team service for home delivery and pickup of bills or any products purchased online.

Mohammed al Malki, Public Relations and Communication Manager at the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority (GRSIA), thanked Vodafone employees for their continuous cooperation and for the care they extend to retirees.
He underlined the importance of providing telecom and IT solutions for retirees at affordable prices through the"Khusomat"Programme.
The General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority is committed to strengthening its partnerships for the benefit of retirees and aims to extend our bridges of communication with all stakeholders through the Khusomat Programme."
Malki explained that the programme is a voluntary initiative launched by GRSIA in response to the aspirations of retirees who were seeking discounted rates. Their needs were met by launching the first phase of the Programme that covered 70 companies. GRSIA is currently also in discussion with several national companies to reinforce its efforts in meeting the needs and aspirations of the retirees.
