To mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the State of Qatar, joint postage stamps were launched by the Qatari and Georgian posts under an initiative of the Embassy of Georgia in the State of Qatar.
The Ambassador of Georgia to the State of Qatar HE Nikoloz Revazishvili and Chairman of Qatar Post Faleh Mohammed Al Nuaimi jointly presented postage stamps dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Qatar on June 18, 2023.
The Georgian envoy expressed gratitude to the Qatari side for close cooperation. The significance of the work done in the history of relations between the Georgian and Qatari people was emphasised on the occasion.
It was also noted that the joint postage stamp, on which the landmarks of the capitals of Georgia and Qatar are depicted, is yet another symbol of friendly relations between the two countries.
