Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met with Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates Saqr Ghobash in Doha on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC) praised the relations between the two countries at the official and popular levels, stressing that this visit reflects the depth of these relations.
For his part, the speaker of the Shura Council thanked FNC Speaker, noting the strong brotherly relations between the two countries.
Bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries in the parliamentary field and means of strengthening them were discussed during the meeting, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern.
The two sides stressed the necessity of strengthening parliamentary relations, increasing cooperation between the two chambers, exchanging experiences and visits. They also stressed the importance of raising the level of coordination of parliamentary positions between them in various regional and international forums.
