His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani honoured the state’s top outstanding male students in high school at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday.
HH the Amir congratulated the students, wishing them more success in their education and urged them to strive for academic achievement , and be keen on excellence to meet their future aspirations in various university disciplines, and to serve the community and the state.
His Highness also lauded the efforts of students’ parents in supporting their children to achieve excellence and distinction.
For their part, the students and their parents extended thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for honouring them and for the care and support His Highness attachesto education.
They also affirmed their determination to continue the path of academic excellence.
The function was attended by Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi and the parents of the honoured students. page 13
