Tribune News NetworkDohaPresident of Malta Dr George Vella took a tour of The Oyster building in Doha along with a Maltese delegation as part of an introductory visit to The Pearl and Gewan Islands.UDC President, CEO and board member Ibrahim Jassim Al Othman briefed the Maltese president on the real-estate development projects being undertaken by UDC in addition to the various investment opportunities and their subsequent benefits. Dr Vella was given an overview of the stages of development of UDC projects, their objectives and what has been accomplished so far. In addition, he was also briefed about a number of residential dwellings, facilities, marinas and other important sites on the properties.The Pearl Island is constantly attracting visits by official delegations visiting Qatar.
