The population of Qatar dropped significantly in June, according to Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA).
“The population of Qatar at the end of June 2023 dropped to 2.656 million, with a monthly decrease of 11.5 percent compared to last May, and an annual decrease of 0.05 percent compared to June 2022,” PSA said on Sunday.
At the end of May 2023, the population of Qatar was 3,002,000 people, with a monthly increase of 1.5 percent over last April, and an annual increase of 5.2 percent over May 2022, the PSA said.
