DOHA:Qatar has condemned in the strongest terms the repeated aggression of the Israeli occupation against the city of Jenin and its camp, which led to the fall of martyrs and to injuries, considering it a new episode in a series of continuous attacks by the occupation and its horrific crimes against the defenseless Palestinian people.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the fading opportunities for peace and the widening of the cycle of violence due to the continuous Israeli escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
It also stressed the need for the international community to move urgently to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people, and to oblige Israel to stop its flagrant violations of international law and force it to respect the decisions of international legitimacy.
The ministry renewed Qatar's firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
