After a successful career in front of the camera, actor Josh Duhamel is set to go behind it to direct his first movie The Buddy Games.
The Transformers will helm The Buddy Games for WWE Studios.
Duhamel, who confirmed the project during WWE Raw recently will also star in the film alongside wrestling star Seamus and actor Nick Swardson. He is also involved in developing the screenplay for the movie.
The Buddy Games is a wild assortment of absurd physical and mental challenges. In the process, they heal old wounds, right past wrong and figure out the true meaning of friendship or die trying.
The film is set to begin shooting in August in Vancouver.
