Bayern Munich have reportedly made a second offer to Tottenham for the signing of forward Harry Kane, according to broadcasters Sky on Sunday.
The Bundesliga champions are said to have offered ?80 million ($87.7 million) plus bonus payments.
England captain Kane has a contract at Tottenham until 2024, and Bayern’s first offer in the range of €70 million plus add-ons was reportedly rejected at the end of June.
Speaking to the Bild newspaper on the sidelines of an award ceremony on Saturday, Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala believes Kane would fit the German champions and hopes he agrees on a transfer.
"He has been playing at the highest level in the Premier League for years. He would be a good fit for us,” Musiala said.
The 20-year-old Germany midfielder received the award in the "outstanding young athlete” category.
The 11-time reigning German champions are looking for a new striker after their contracted forwards failed to fill the void last season following Robert Lewandowski’s departure for Barcelona.
The Sport Bild weekly said last week that Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel visited Kane in London mid-May with the aim to convince him to join the Bundesliga champions in summer.
