Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) on Sunday held a session of bilateral talks.
In charge of managing QCAA Mohamed Faleh Alhajri headed the Qatari side, while Secretary-General of AFCAC Adefunke Adeyemi headed the African side. Ambassador of Rwanda to Qatar HE Igor Marara attended the session alongside a host of officials from QCAA and AFCAC.
The two sides discussed cooperation in the field of civil aviation and ways to enhance them, in addition to the Qatar-African cooperation programme in the field of developing and upgrading human resources in civil aviation which primarily aims to upgrade efficiency in civil aviation security and safety in Africa.
The cooperation aims to achieve Qatar Airways’ interests as the national airline of Qatar, increase opportunities of developing transport rights, as well as expand investment opportunities in Africa where aviation have seen steady growth in the recent years, bringing good tidings to a promising future of Africa as a continent that is rich in natural and human resources.
