The Al Khor Cultural Center of the Ministry of Culture has launched a summer programme for females. Running until August 3, the programme includes a host of activities and events, including cultural and artistic workshops during summer vacation.
Director of Al Khor Cultural Center Mariam Ali Al Mohannadi said the summer workshop targets female students aged 9-18 years, adding that the centre’s activities have witnessed a high turnout from affiliates with 70 females participating in the summer programme. She pointed out that the centre holds a plethora of workshops ranging from painting to ceramics arts and threads, outlining that the programme aims to invest in the leisure times of young people to fulfill their needs and benefit from these times under the supervision of qualified trainers.
Al Mohannadi said the centre will organise workshops for students aged five and above upon completion of the summer programme.
