Qatar National Day activities will not be held at Darb Al Saai in Al Sadd this year, the organizing committee has announced.
Instead, various activities to mark the day will be organised at different places in the country.
The committee said Darb Al Saai was being shifted to a permanent site in Umm Slal Mohammed, in coordination with the Special Engineering Office, and it would start hosting the Qatar National Day activities from next year.
"Ancestral Meadows: A Matter of Trust" is the slogan for this year’s QND, which is celebrated on December 18 each year.
