RIYADH: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Muhammad Al Budaiwi stressed the importance of the Gulf-American strategic partnership, to ensure the fulfilment of common interests and to support the region's security and stability.
During his meeting with US Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Michael Ratney, Al Budaiwi discussed a number of topics and strategic partnerships between Washington and the GCC countries, aiming to promote peace, security, stability and integration.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
