Police Academy celebrated on Thursday the graduation of the fourth batch of the ‘Police Officers of Tomorrow’ programme for summer 2023. The ceremony was attended by Assistant Director of Public Security Major General Mohammed Jassim Al Sulaiti, a number of officers, and parents of the graduates.

The fourth batch included around 400 students who, over two weeks, participated in various activities including military infantry training, self-defence techniques, physical fitness exercises, air shooting practice, and other cultural and sports activities.

In a statement on the occasion, Major General Al Sulaiti said that the programme organised by the Police Academy plays a crucial role in fostering community partnership. He highlighted that the programme focuses on providing training and educational activities that help develop leadership skills and self-confidence among the participants.

The Police Academy launched the fourth edition of the Police Officers of Tomorrow programme on July 1, attracting a total of 2,500 students divided into six groups. Each group underwent skill training and educational activities over a period of two weeks, which also included religious and cultural activities.

Over the past two weeks, the Police Academy has celebrated the graduation of three groups from the programme. The remaining two groups will have their graduation ceremonies in the upcoming two weeks.
