Tribune News NetworkDohaMES Indian School organised a summer camp for its students of grades I to VIII from June 22 to 28. Principal of the school Hameeda Kadar inaugurated the camp. Speaking on the occasion, she said that such initiatives help students develop their innate talents besides familiarising them with their existing skills.The week-long summer camp saw students engage in different fun-filled activities. They had an array of activities to choose from such as line art, fun and fact with science, be a crafter, figure it out, chitter- chatter, fitness freaks, crafting, take the lead, tap the feet and twirl, crack the illusion, mastering the phases of moon, Chinese whisper and draw with lines, caption that, art on coffee mug, drawing, calligraphy, musical and acting talent’s ride, word games, Vedic mathematics, role play and career day, wall décor making, pista shell craft, mehendi designing, pencil drawing, talent show, scrap book making, rang amizy, make over, hello namasthe, music fest, taste experience, reels, mask, curtain call, passion pavers, fruit styling, football fantasia, jogos interiors, paint pack, the leader builder, and master mind’ etc.‘Makeover’, a virtual chat with the principal was the highlight of the camp, which provided a unique platform for the students to interact with the principal on diverse topics. MATR 2022, Musical & Acting Talents’ Ride, enthralled everyone.‘Hello Namasthe’, a Yoga session had a positive impact in terms of physical and mental well-being. The learners zealously participated the planned activities of their choice. The camp was well appreciated by everyone. The overwhelming responses received through reviews and feedback was a motivating factor for the organisers.A host of fascinating activities were held during the closing ceremony. The school ICT department provided the technical support for the smooth conduct of the digital programme. Sreejith, Mohammed Riyasudheen, Sijila Das and Remya Nandakumar were the coordinators for the summer camp 2022.
