Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co., the distributor for Toyota Brand in Qatar organized a Hybrid Electric Vehicle Experience event for the journalists & influencers as part of their support for the Qatar Sustainability Week activity. The attendees were given the opportunity to test-drive the range of the latest models of Toyota Hybrid Electric Vehicles which included C-HR, Corolla, Corolla Cross, Camry, RAV4 & the Highlander. Upon their arrival at Sakura Lounge, Journalists & influencers were welcomed by Mr. Firas Mufti, Senior Marketing Manager, AAB, followed by a brief session on the HEV technology, advantages of HEV as well as the agenda for the day. Mr. Awwad Mohamed, Senior Manager, Toyota National Sales also briefed the attendees on Toyota HEV line-up while Ms. Rassamunira Ramli, Corporate Communication & CSR Manager highlighted AAB’s support for the Qatar Sustainability Week in respect of Affordable and Clean Energy by using hybrid vehicles.The driving experience event started from Al Abdulghani Tower towards Salwa Hilton Resort covering about 100 kms. There were also stopovers to allow the guests to change driving positions to enable everyone to experience the Hybrid technology. In the Salwa Hilton Resort, each journalist talked about key benefits & points they enjoyed and experienced while driving these amazing models. Toyota Corolla HEVExemplifying Toyota’s continuous commitment to providing environmentally friendly vehicles is the addition of a hybrid electric model, which combines two power sources consisting of a petrol engine and electric motors. The class-leading model offers the lowest fuel consumption value in its category at 27.6km/L. Corolla HEV is equipped with a 4 cylinder, 1.8 liter engine with a combined power of 121 HP.
