The comprehensive new student orientation programme was thoughtfully designed to introduce students to the diverse facets of university life and the dynamic world of health and medical sciences. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to engage with deans, esteemed faculty members, and fellow students in interactive workshops and discussions. It was the perfect occasion to forge connections and lay the foundation for a successful university experience.
The event featured a motivational speech by trainer Iman Al-Obaidi, a trainer in youth empowerment and sustainability. During her speech, she shared her inspiring journey towards achieving success and excellence. The students had a unique opportunity to benefit from her valuable experience.
It is worth mentioning that QU Health is in the process of organising the second New Student Orientation Exhibition under the slogan “QU Health: your gateway to health professions” on Wednesday, 6 September, 2023. The exhibition is one of the most prominent features of the orientation. It aims to provide an opportunity for new students to learn more about QU Health, its colleges, and university life. Additionally, participation from entities across different healthcare sectors within the country will contribute to the event.
