DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) announced on Friday its readiness to launch the seventh edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition (S’hail), which is scheduled to run from September 5 to September 9, with wide international participation reaching more than 190.
Local and international companies that represent the State of Qatar and 18 countries from around the world will take part, including distinguished Gulf participation from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The organizing committee of S’hail Exhibition 2023 announced that the pace of work is accelerating to complete the preparations for the final stage of the participating pavilions, as the organizing committee continued its efforts in putting the final touches on the existing preparations in all areas designated for the exhibition, with the completion of preparing 90 percent of the exhibition area.
The event brings together falconers, hunting enthusiasts and lovers of hunting and land trips, as well as attracting an elite of the most skilled craftsmen and makers of falconry and hunting supplies in the world. It also constitutes a global economic and marketing platform that attracts major national and international companies specialized in displaying and selling the best Weapons, products and equipment in the world of hunting and travel.
The seventh edition of the exhibition occupies a large area – 10 percent larger than all previous editions, in order to accommodate the increasing numbers and wide participation of the most famous companies specialized in the field of hunting, falconry and camping from Qatar, the Gulf region and the world under one roof.
They will be seen in three areas: Area A, the main tent that occupies Al-Hikma Square, in which the S’hail Auction Theater will be held, which will include the rarest types of falcons, especially falcons, in addition to displaying sniper supplies, hunting trip equipment, and hunting equipment, in addition to traditional industries and handicrafts related to hunting and hunting. The Area B is the hall. For arms and hunting rifle companies and the modern and diverse exhibits they offer, in addition to the Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital wing.
Area C, is the tent designated for companies that supply modified four-wheel-drive cars for land trips, snipers, and camping supplies, in addition to establishing a theater on which scientific lectures and poetry seminars are held.
The organizing committee on the southern side of Katara also allocated a special area to receive weapons, hunting rifles, and ammunition, to avoid crowding and facilitate the public to complete all required procedures.
