Olive International School (OIS), Doha held an online Student Exchange Programme with students from Delhi Public School (DPS), Dwarka. The programme aimed at promoting cultural understanding, global awareness and academic collaboration between students from Doha and Delhi.

The session began with a welcome note from Vandana, a faculty member from Delhi Public School, Dwarka. Approximately 45 students from both schools enthusiastically participated in the session. The programme was hosted by Natasha Chopra, director of TC Global, and received support from Pranav Thakurta, founder and chairman of Edu TV which acted as the official media partner.

Shalini Rawat, vice-principal of Operations, played a key role in initiating the Student Exchange Programme. The exchange allowed students to gain a deeper appreciation for the similarities and differences in cultures, fostering greater empathy and open-mindedness. It also provided them with a broader perspective on global issues and challenges, contributing to their overall awareness. Language skills, especially in English, were notably enhanced through immersion and communication with peers.

The Student Exchange Programme between students from Doha and Delhi proved to be a valuable endeavour, promoting cultural understanding, academic collaboration and global awareness. It offered students the chance to immerse themselves in the culture, traditions and daily life of another country.
