Shisha or hookah smoking will be banned in all restaurants and cafes operating in the country, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on Thursday as it spelled out the new COVID-19 restrictions kicking in on Saturday on commercials activities.
In line with current developments and to complement previous decisions taken by Qatar to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents in respect to limiting the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-1 9), certain restrictions have been reimposed on commercial activities, the ministry said.
They include capacity restrictions in shopping malls, popular markets and restaurants and cafes.
