NEW YORK: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with a number of Their Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses, leaders of countries and heads of delegations of brotherly and friendly countries, participating in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, at the organisation’s headquarters in New York, on Tuesday.
HH the Amir met with HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the representative of HH Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, HH Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister; HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, HE Serdar Berdi Mammadov, President of Turkmenistan, HE Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, HE Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, HE Alejandro Giammattei, President of the Republic of Guatemala, HRH Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and HE Georgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Republic Italy.
During the meetings, a number of topics on the agenda of the seventy-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly were reviewed, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the regional and international situation.
The meetings were attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the accompanying official delegation.
