Tribune News NetworkDohaThe 73rd Republic Day of India was marked at the Embassy of India in Doha on Wednesday.HE Dr Deepak Mittal, the Ambassador of India to Qatar, hoisted the Indian national flag in the Embassy premises followed by the national anthem.The president of India’s address was read out by the ambassador.   The function was followed by rendering of patriotic songs and folk dances from Jammu and Kashmir and Assam states performed by Indian community members. The event was was held in a hybrid format with simultaneous live streaming online on social media handles and on You Tube Channel of the embassy.The ambassador appreciated the commendable role played by Indian community in Qatar in various sectors.  He also interacted with Indian community and apex body heads.
