THE Private Engineering Office has opened a unique red-hued street within the boundaries of Al Bidda Park. The first-of-its-kind road in Qatar, which extends from the Qatar National Theatre to the Emiri Diwan roundabout, is covered with red asphalt. The road can be closed by automated roadblocks when needed in order to turn it into a pedestrian path or to facilitate important events such as the National Day, the Sport Day and other significant events.
