STENDEN University Qatar welcomed new students and grand tour students by holding orientation programmes on September 10 and 11.
The programme was designed to help them adapt to the new academic and social environment at the university.
Newcomers were taken on a campus tour to meet lecturers and learn more about student services. They attended workshops on study skills and had familiarisation sessions about how to use the facilities.
The orientation programme included a number of presentations from faculty members and alumni who shared their own experiences with new students. The programme, which also offered many entertainment activities and games, was a rich experience for both new and senior students who took part in the event.
Stenden University Qatar was established in 2000 by Al Faisal Holding and Stenden University in the Netherlands. The University offers three different Dutch accredited Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Programmes in International Business and Management Studies, Tourism Management and International Hospitality Management.
All programmes are recognised by Qatar's Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Stenden University also has campuses in the Netherlands, Bali, South Africa and Thailand.
