talabat, the region’s leading platform for everyday deliveries, has announced its latest campaign with Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) and Texas Chicken, kick-starting a heartwarming healthy meal donation campaign.

For every kid’s meal purchased from Texas Chicken via talabat from October 1 to 31, a healthy meal will be provided to a child in Bangladesh.

Commenting on the campaign, Francisco Miguel Condeco Caetano De Sousa, managing director of talabat Qatar, said: "At talabat, we firmly believe in the transformative power of food in uniting people and creating a positive difference. We are elated to partner with Texas Chicken and Qatar Red Crescent Society to facilitate healthy meals to children in Bangladesh, and are proud to continuously support charities and vendors on such campaigns. As always, the team is humbled to be facilitators of giving back to communities in need and we look forward to continuously expanding our charitable efforts beyond boundaries.”

Partnering with talabat and Qatar Red Crescent Society to provide healthy kids’ meals to the children of Bangladesh is an honour and a privilege. We’re dedicated to upholding quality and refuse to compromise on our brand values.

"This means never taking the easy route, never cutting corners. That’s why we’re proud to announce that we’re using the best in terms of quality - local, fresh chicken. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partner, Talabat, for their unwavering support and shared dedication to this cause.”

Faisal Mohamed Al Emadi, acting secretary-general of Qatar Red Crescent Society, stated, "I would like to thank talabat and Texas Chicken for their support to our operations in Bangladesh. With their donations, we will be able to reach out to more children of poor and refugee families there, thus helping alleviate their suffering and hunger. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a main pillar of our partnership strategy, and this particular humanitarian and business partnership is an admirable model that we urge everyone to follow”.
