Tribune News Network DohaThe Special Products and Qatar’s Farms programmes recorded a total sale of 1,211 tonnes of various agricultural produce in June. A total of 199 tonnes were marketed through the Special Product Programme and 1,012 tonnes were sold through the Qatar Farms Programme. The Qatar Farms’ local vegetables are available in major complexes such as Lulu, Carrefour, Al Meera, family catering and others throughout the year. The local products’ marketing programmes are supervised by the Ministry of Municipality represented by the Department of Agricultural Affairs in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.Meanwhile, Al Daayen Municipality congratulated the public on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha through the complex’s screens and held some exciting shows for children, in addition to distributing educational gifts provided by the Ministry of Municipality to all children with the aim of bringing joy and happiness in their hearts.The Hygiene Department of the Services Affairs Department in Daayen Municipality implemented a campaign to sterilise and remove random waste, which included 541 damaged tyres and 1,500 tonnes of other wastes in Al-Aib, Rawdat Al-Hamamah, Al-Abeeb Area.The municipality continues to provide its services in all its areas with a high level of quality and efficiency, according to its plans and programmes.
