Qatar's Al Arabi Club had a heartbreaking defeat when they narrowly lost the 33rd Arab Club Handball Championship final to Sakkiet Ezzit of Tunisia in Oujda, Morocco on Sunday.
Al Arabi battled hard but the Tunisian club managed to eke out a 38-37 victory and emerge the winners.
Al Khor, another club from Qatar, finished fourth, having been beaten by Al Safa of Saudi Arabia 30-37 in a third-place playoff.

Bronze medal for Qatar's young riders
Qatar's junior team claimed the bronze medal in the FEI Word Endurance Championship for Young Riders & Juniors, held in Verona, Italy.
The national team was represented by Hamad Saeed al Shamsi, Mohammed Abdullah al Gamili, Hamad Saleh al Qamara, Jassim Rashid al Kaabi and Abdulrahman Hamad al Shamsi.
The United Arab Emirates won the 120-km event, while Spain came second.
The prestigious FEI Word Endurance Championship 2017 brought together 300 riders from 33 countries.

Qatar enter semis
The Qatari ice hockey team participated lost to Macao in the semi-finals of the Hong Kong invitational tournament.
Qatar's Ahmad al Obaidli and Qais al Natsheh were consistently competitive and showed that they can handle games at an international level.
