Qatar's national gymnastics team has finished preparations for the 47th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships which will be held from October 2 to 8 in Montreal, Canada.
Ahmed Saleh Nasser Aldiani and Ahmed Nabil Moussa will leave for Montreal on Tuesday to in readiness for the competition. Mohammed al Maraghi, member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Gymnastics Federation and head of the delegation, said that some of the best teams in the world will participate the championship.
He expressed his hope that the Qatar will post commendable results at the event.
Maraghi said that the athletes had underwent a strong and intensive training to maintain their technical level through daily training for two periods during their camp in Doha.
He praised them for their commitment and the quest to achieve good results, especially in view of this important championship.
