On the German side, the talks session was attended by Federal government spokesman Stephen Hebstreet, State Secretary for Economic, Finance and European Affairs at the Federal Chancellery Dr Jorg Kukies, Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the Chancellor Jens Plotner, Economic, Fiscal and Climate Policy Advisor to the Chancellor Steffen Meyer, Ministerial Advisor and Deputy Director of the Chancellor’s Office Dr Chia Lehnardt, and Head of the Department of Bilateral Relations with Countries in the Near and Middle East, the Maghreb, Asia, the Pacific and Latin America, Dr Daniel Kreber.

Prior to the talks, HH the Amir and the German Chancellor held a bilateral meeting, in which they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and the ways to strengthen and develop them.

The German Chancellor held a luncheon banquet in honour of HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation.

HH the Amir also met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Annalena Baerbock and her accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed the relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop them, especially those related to the developments in the Palestinian territories.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and a number of members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
