Doha Bank recently hosted its monthly Employee Recognition Awards ceremony for the month of August 2017, to acknowledge and congratulate the outstanding service and achievements of employees from various work disciplines.
The award recipients were recognised during a ceremony in Doha, in the presence of Dr. R. Seetharaman, CEO of Doha Bank, the bank's senior management and department heads, a press statement said on Monday
The awardees excelled in their respective areas of work and went the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and boost business growth of their departments and the bank, the statement added.
Some of the award categories included, 'Most Committed Employee,' which went to Ali Abbas of Housing Loan, 'Best Call-Centre Executive' to Miss Donna Mayekar, 'Best Personal Finance Executive' to Miss Sharon Pereira of Direct Sales, and 'Best Dealer' to Chetan Joshi of Investments.
Special recognition was given to three employees in the 'Best Recovery Agent' category, for their outstanding efforts towards recovery. The recipients of these awards were Ashraf Abouelela, Tariq Jootawala and Miss Shirin Sameer.
Seetharaman handed over the awards to the winners during the event saying,"I'm very proud once again, to celebrate the outstanding performances and commitment of our staff members. Their dedication to our organisation is tangible day after day and it is our duty and absolute pleasure to recognise these efforts on a regular basis.
"The success and growth of Doha Bank wouldn't be possible without our amazing staff. The job of each one of them is recognised and we are looking forward to recognise each individual within our organization sooner or later, as every effort counts and needs to be celebrated."
