Red Apple Events and Media in association with prime wealth creators is bringing you India's current hit machine Badshah live in Doha.
Badshah, who is currently the most wanted Indian singer, started his career in 2006 alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh in his group Mafia Mundeer and gained popularity among the youth. He split from Honey in 2012 and gained fame with his independent Haryanvi song Kar Gayi Chull, which was later adopted into Bollywood movie Kapoor & Sons. His music has been featured in Bollywood film soundtracks as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Sonam Kapoor starrer Khoobsurat.
His debut single DJ Waley Babu featuring Aastha Gill was ranked number one on Indian i-Tunes charts within 24 hours of release. The song also crossed a million views on YouTube in less than two dys.
In 2016, he collaborated with Navv Inder on Wakhra Swag which won the 2016 Punjabi Music Awards for best duo/group and most popular song of the year award.
The new trend in Bollywood music is remake of classic hits from the 80s and 90s. The trend started from Kala Chashma, then Humma Humma and the latest Tamma Tama, which became a rage. Badshah adds extra flavour to remakes with his rap.
Badshah will be accompanied by singer Aastha Gill who was part of the iTunes chart buster DJ Waley Babu and Gurinder Rai.
Up and coming Pakistani singer Tahir Naeem will be opening for Badshah with an exclusive unplugged session. DJ Mitesh, Badshah's official DJ, will also be on the hot seat to ensure Dohaites are on a mega musical trip.
Badshah has been signed by the Sony Music label and currently has the record of highest viewed Indian music video on YouTube. He has also collaborated with international artists like Sean Paul and Major Lazer; thus taking Indian music across the world.
Red Apple Events has a reputation of mega shows in the past, giving Dohaites a totally new experience with every event. They are known for their signature Rang Barse event that attracts over 4,000 people every year. Doha Marriott also has been host to big events in the past and Badshah Live in Doha promises to be one of its kind. The event is curated by Sony Music and the crowd will be treated to a full on audio visual experience. The event arena will be decked to look like a concert arena with elevated VIP seating, massive video walls and team of 11 musicians from India who will ensure Doha remembers this event for a long time.
