The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) is actively participating in the 8th edition of the Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW), being held from October 17 to 19. The primary objectives of NCSA’s participation are to introduce the agency, exchange knowledge, and acquire expertise from global best practices.

NCSA showcases its notable achievements through its pavilion at the event. These achievements include the successful security measures implemented for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and other major sports tournaments. Additionally, NCSA highlights its accomplishments such as obtaining cyber security certification from the Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA) and the development of ‘Educational Cyber Security Curricula’.

The NCSA also participated in a panel discussion entitled ‘Enhancing Diversity for Cyber Security Workforce’ within the Women in Cyber Security event. The session discussed a number of important topics, most notably the role of Qatar in supporting women in the field of cyber security as well as women leadership. The session was presented by Nora Al Abdulla, director of Cyber Resilience, Risk and Crisis Department at the NCSA.

The SICW is one of the largest cyber security events in Asia Pacific region.
