DOHA: Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar HE Jean-Baptiste Faivre, on Sunday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and avenues for supporting and developing them, in addition to discussing developments of the situations in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially Gaza and means of de-escalation.
They also discussedthe latest developments in Ukraine, the importance of Qatari mediation and assistance, along with the situation in Afghanistan, particularly girls' education.
The Minister of State for International Cooperation expressed Qatar's firm position in condemning all forms of targeting civilians, adding that killing innocent civilians, especially women and children and practising the policy of collective punishment are unacceptable under any pretext.
She underscored the importance of entry of relief convoys and humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian brothers trapped under bombardment.
