DOHA: Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with Canadian Minister of International Development Ahmed Hussen.
The meeting discussed relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, especially in the international cooperation field, in addition to the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in the Gaza Strip, and ways to de-escalate and enhance joint cooperation to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
During the meeting, the Minister of State for International Cooperation affirmed Qatar's firm position on condemning all forms of targeting civilians, schools, and hospitals, and on the killing of innocent civilians, especially women, and children, and practising collective punishment as reprehensible under any pretext.
Al Khater stressed the importance of not obstructing humanitarian efforts, the delivery of aid, and the necessity of coordinating international and regional efforts to stop the aggression against Gaza and achieve just and comprehensive peace.
