The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar announced the completion of Rawdat Al Khail (Al Muntazah) park in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality.
Rawdat Al Khail park is one of the oldest parks in Al Doha that serve more than one area, it is located in Al Muntazah with an area of 140,000 m² to serve all age groups since it includes various entertainment and sports facilities and perennial trees representing modernity and heritage.
Eng. Mohammad Al Khalidi, Chairman of committee said, "We are delighted to developed Rawdat Al Khail park, which offers visitors of all age groups many fun experiences through a range of facilities, primarily pedestrian trails, bicycles and sports areas."
Eng. Majed Al-Maadadi, the Project Manager, said, "The development works implemented included preserving perennial trees in the park, where pedestrian & cycling paths were implemented relying on the large trees to shade them without building arches."
Eng. Jasmine Al Sheikh, Project Design Manager said, "The distinguished design of the park combined modernity & heritage, as the designer also considered the area surrounding the park that is known with its dense population and traffic."
