The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather advisory for Saturday, indicating hazy to misty conditions inshore until 6pm. These conditions are expected to give way to partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain and relatively cold temperatures by nightfall.

Offshore areas are anticipated to experience partly cloudy conditions with a chance of scattered rain initially, gradually clearing up later in the day, as per the meteorological report.

In terms of wind patterns, inshore regions can expect northwesterly to northeasterly winds at speeds ranging from 5 to 15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 20 knots. Offshore areas will experience northwesterly winds at speeds between 8 to 18 knots.

Visibility may be affected inshore, ranging from 4 to 9 kilometers or less at certain places, while offshore visibility is expected to be in the range of 4 to 8 kilometers.

Sea conditions are predicted to be moderate, with a sea state inshore ranging from 1 to 4 feet, and offshore conditions ranging from 2 to 5 feet.

Residents and maritime users are advised to stay updated on the weather conditions and take necessary precautions as per the official recommendations from the Department of Meteorology.
