During a virtual call with Qatar local media, Darren was all smiles as he talked about his upcoming first-ever concert in Doha.
How have you been preparing for your concert?
I’m very excited because it’s going to be my first time in Qatar. I’m glad to be a part of this event because it’s not just a gathering of the Filipino community, but it’s more of a homecoming, especially for those who can’t come back to the Philippines for the holidays.
Is it your solo concert or do you have special guests on stage?
There are actually some local acts who will be performing with me.
What can fans expect from your concert?
I feel like everything is going to be in this concert. It’s really something that everyone can sing and jive along with.
What is your message to your fans?
To everyone who has been supporting me ever since I joined The Voice Kids, thank you so much and I’m so excited to finally meet some of you. I found out on Twitter that there are Darrenatics in Qatar who already bought tickets. I can’t wait to see all of you.

Career Beginnings
The singing phenom was already making waves at the age of 10 when he joined Canada’s YTV, The Next Star where he became the youngest finalist in the show’s history.
