Kathmandu A wild elephant in Nepal killed a 35-year-old man who had attempted to chase it away, police said Wednesday.The man was among a group of villagers, who late Tuesday tried to chase away a herd of four wild elephants in the village of Bhadrapur in the country's south-east, said senior police officer Bishnu KC. Conflicts between wild animals and humans have increased in recent years in southern Nepal's buffer zones. (DPA)
