Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani witnessed the graduation ceremony of the University of Doha for Science and Technology students, class of 2022, which took place at the university campus this evening.
The ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. After that, the President of University of Doha for Science and Technology, Dr. Salem bin Nasser Al Naemi, handed over the graduation certificates to the 473 graduates from various disciplines.
He delivered a speech during the ceremony in which he congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their scientific and practical life. The ceremony also included another speech delivered by the guest of the ceremony, HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad Sherida Al Kaabi.
During the ceremony, a documentary film was shown about the college's 20-year journey and its subsequent transformation into a university, in addition to the graduates' aspirations to build their future and employ their services to society and the state of Qatar.
The ceremony was attended by HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdulla Al Ghanem, in addition to a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, including a broad range of Heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the state of Qatar, members of the Board of Trustees, academics, members of the administrative and teaching staff and the parents of the graduates.
