DPS Modern Indian School Senior Girls dominated the Qatar Debate League-I for Girls held at DeBakey High School, recently.
Team Sandra Ramachandran, Nakshatra Gayen and Kanagambujam topped the league by winning all four rounds while Team Najah Ismail, Arya Kannade and Priyal Dhade finished second. The novice team with Arooj Nuha Akra, Saumya Murgai and Sneha Chandani ended in 18th position in the 56-team competition.
In the individual category, Nakshatra came first followed by Sandra in the third position and Kanagambujam in the fifth. Six DPS-MIS students finished in the top 35 out of 170 debaters.
Overall, DPS finished top of the standings with eight points.
