Doka Qatar went 'Wild West' during its 9th Annual Staff Party recently at Vine Restaurant of St. Regis Hotel Doha. Since 2009 Doka Qatar rewards all its employees for their contribution to the performance of the company by organising an annual staff party. This event is to refresh and re-energise staff members towards a common goal to remain the No 1 Formwork Partner to all contractors in Qatar.
MD Harald Hartung opened this year's event with a review of the performance of Doka Qatar from 2009. The event involved giving away prizes for 'Best Wild West Outfit', team competitions, live Western music by the Sunbeats Band, delightful dishes and lavish barbeque, a raffle draw and the introduction of the Green Office Building project by the Vital ambassadors of Doka Qatar.
The highlight of the evening was the celebration of the 'Doka Group Sales Award 2016'. The winners were chosen from 160 Doka Group branches in 70 countries worldwide. Managing Director Harald Hartung and Regional Head of Sales Matthew Kretzmann presented the awards for the category 'Doka Hall of Fame' to Doka Qatar Head of Sales Amer al Zawydeh and Sales Engineer Usama al Saleh and the award for 'Salesman of the Year 2016' to Usama al Saleh.
