DOHA: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of low horizontal visibility anticipated over specific coastal areas and at sea. The advisory, in effect until 6 o’clock this evening, highlights conditions ranging from relatively cool to cold weather with accompanying light fog to fog initially and intermittent cloud cover.

On the coast, variable winds at speeds less than 3 knots are expected initially, evolving into predominantly southeasterly to southwesterly winds ranging between 3 and 10 knots. Meanwhile, at sea, winds are projected to be variable in direction, predominantly northwesterly, with speeds ranging between 3 and 13 knots.

Horizontal visibility along the coast and at sea is forecasted to be between 3 and 7 kilometers, potentially decreasing to one kilometer or less in certain areas at the onset. Navigational caution is advised.

Wave heights are anticipated to be one to two feet along the coast and one to three feet at sea.

Residents and maritime activities are urged to exercise caution and stay informed about the changing weather conditions. The highest expected temperature in Doha is forecasted to be 26 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department emphasizes the need for vigilance and adherence to safety measures, particularly for those operating along the coast and at sea.
