The Under-19 and Under-17 Girls' hockey teams of MES Indian School registered a sweeping victory in the recently held hockey match at the Pearl School. The Under-19 Girls played against Birla Public School and won 7-0. The Under-17 Girls registered a win by a convincing 4-2 goal margin. This is the fourth consecutive year that the hockey teams of MES have qualified for the Nationals by clinching the championship.
The Under-19 and Under-17 Boys' hockey teams of the school finished as the first runners-up of the tournament. The teams were trained by the Department of Physical Education teacher Gigi Abraham.
