DOHA: Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater has announced the arrival of a new group of wounded Palestinians from Gaza in Qatar on board an Amiri Air Force plane.
In a social media post on the X platform, Al Khater said, “By the grace of God, a new group of injured brothers arrived from Gaza to the State of Qatar on board an Amiri Air Force plane, accompanied by a medical team and the Vice Chairman of the Gaza Reconstruction Committee, Ambassador Khaled Al-Hardan.”
“In another context, I note that up to this moment, not all of the patients and injured who were in Kamal Adwan Hospital, which was besieged and brutally attacked, have not been found and rescue teams were prevented from reaching it,” she said.
Al Khater thanked Egypt for the facilities provided to transport the injured.
In early December, His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued a directive to treat 1,500 wounded Palestinians in the State, in addition to sponsoring 3,000 orphans from the Gaza Strip.
