DPS-MIS students Aina Merchant, Nakshatra Gayan, Kirti Mishra, Akshal Jain, Shivom Dhamija and Joel Alex attended a series of debate workshops at the HBKU Student Center over the course of six weeks.
The workshops were conducted by Qatar National Debate team captains Alex, Tasneem and Rashid. The students learned about various themes like liberalism, capitalism, Marxism, economics, jurisprudence and minority rights, that are very relevant to understanding debates.
The workshops were very interactive and not only gave the students a lot to learn but also the opportunity to delve into activities relating to critical thinking and current affairs.
