Traffic department opens office at HIA

DOHA THE General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) opened an services office at the Hamad International Airport on Wednesday. Located opposite the departures terminal at HIA, the new office offers an array of services such as vehicle licenses and registration, payment of traffic violations, renewal of driving licenses and other related traffic services. In addition, the office will enable travellers to pay fines in case of traffic violations before their departure as non-payment can prevent them from leaving the country and can also lead to cancellation of the number plates of their vehicles.
