Qatar sends 33 tonnes of aid as 4th batch of wounded Palestinians heads to Doha

EL Arish: Two aircraft belonging to the Qatar Armed Forces arrived in El Arish in Egypt, on Saturday, carrying 33 tonnes of aid, consisting of food and medical supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund For Development, Qatar Red Crescent Society, and Qatar Charity, to be transported to Gaza.

So far Qatar has dispatched 49 aircraft with a total of 1,534 tonnes of aid.

The aid is part ofQatar's support to the Palestinian people subject to difficult humanitarian conditions.

In addition, a Qatari plane carrying the fourth batch of wounded Palestinians from the Gaza Strip left El Arish Airport, in coordination with Egypt, for them to receive treatment in Doha, as part of His Highness the Amirs initiative to treat 1,500 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
