‘Idealite 2023’, the annual magazine of Ideal Indian School (IIS), was released in a special ceremony held recently. Idealite is a multilingual magazine that provides a platform for the budding artists and writers of the school to display their talent. Furthermore, the magazine offers a panoramic view of the cultural, academic, sports, literary activities and achievements of the school.
School President Dr Hassan Kunhi M P was the chief guest on the occasion. Amjad Vanimal, the editor of Gulf Times and the guest of honour, presented the first copy of the magazine to Dr Hassan Kunhi M P and Principal Shaik Shamim Saheb.
In his keynote address, Dr Hassan Kunhi M P affirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing the students’ creative minds. Addressing the students, Amjad stressed the importance of cultivating a habit of reading, noting that it expands the mind and stimulates the imagination. The principal commended the efforts of the editorial board, teachers, and students for bringing out such an outstanding magazine.
Anwar Sadath, the head of the Department of English, welcomed the guests and the gathering, and Lipsy Sabu, AHM, Boys’ Section, proposed the vote of thanks. Ronnie Elizabeth hosted the release ceremony.
