EL-ARISH: A plane belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived in El Arish in Egypt on Sunday, carrying 14 tonnes of aid, including food supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development, Qatar Red Crescent, and Qatar Charity, in preparation for its transportation to Gaza.
The plane was received at El-Arish Airport by Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater.
Qatar has so far dispatched50 aircraft, with a total of 1,548 tonnes of aid for Gaza.
The aid comes within the framework of Qatar’s support for the Palestinian peopleduring the difficult humanitarian conditions they are currently exposed to.
