Dozens of Israeli fighter jets have attacked more than 100 targets in Gaza on Tuesday morning, killing over 50 people.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 52 people were killed in the attacks. As many as 241 people were killed in the past 24 hours and 382 wounded.

The Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) said that Israeli warplanes launched intense and violent raids on several areas east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. Three people were also killed and several others were injured in an Israeli strike targeting a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.

The continuing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, has resulted in the killing of some 21,000 Palestinians, and the injury of around 54,000, more than 70 percent of whom are women and children.

On Tuesday, Israel handed over bodies of 80 Palestinians killed in northern Gaza. The bodies have been transported into southern Gaza via the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing.Their identities are not immediately known. They were received by local authorities.

Meanwhile, the UN’s human rights office spokesperson, Seif Magango, said the agency was "gravely concerned” by continued Israeli bombings in the central Gaza Strip. page 5
